The Hooked on Sargent Fishing Rodeo

is an ANNUAL COMMUNITY EVENT FEATURING A KIDS AND ADULT, INSHORE AND OFFSHORE FISHING TOURNAMENT the last weekend in July.

The tournament starts at sunrise on Thursday and runs until final weigh in on Saturday at 5pm. Load up your fishing pole and family for tons of fun, fishing, awards, vendors, boats, music, food, fireworks and prizes!

2025 HOOKED ON SARGENT FISHING RODEO INFORMATION:

  • DATE: JULY 24TH-26TH - Fishing tournament starts at sunrise on Thursday morning and runs until final weigh in on Saturday at 5pm
  • LOCATION: JOEY'S BAIT SHOP - 27334 FM457, Sargent, Texas 77414
  • FISHING TOURNAMENT TICKETS: available for pre-event purchase in Sargent, Texas at Joey’s Bait Shop, Topwater Real Estate, Coastal Liquors and tickets will also be sold at event registration booth during event. Fishing tournament registration ticket cost per ticket – Kid $10 and Adult $50.

Fishing Rodeo fishing tournament tickets will also be entered in a $2,000 CASH PRIZE RAFFLE!

THIS EVENT WILL ALSO HOST LOCAL VENDORS, LIVE BANDS (Steel Country on Friday night and Rewind Texas on Saturday night), DJ DURING THE DAY, SATURDAY, KIDS BOUNCE HOUSE AND GAMES, FIREWORKS, FOOD, COLD BEER, BOAT SHOW, TROPHY AWARDS AND LIVE AND SILENT AUCTION SATURDAY EVENING after final weigh in!
